Chameleon Cabinet Coatings is a family-owned business. We’ve been in the construction industry since 1993. We’ve seen lots of durable and not-so-durable materials in our experiences, including coatings and paint products! So, we decided to find our own line of coatings. We understand that you have this dream of a beautiful kitchen, bath, or laundry room, but perhaps your cash flow isn’t the best right now. We’ve got you covered! We offer special financing to those who qualify. There will be a credit check involved, but rest assured that once approved, you can get busy picking your colors and checking things off your list! We also take payments via most major credit cards.
Some of the biggest hesitations and questions in doing any kind of remodeling work to your home are: “How long will it take? Do I have to move out of my house? Will my house be a mess?” The answers to these questions with having work done by Chameleon Cabinet Coatings is pretty surprising!
Our whole process takes one week from start to finish. The first day, we ask that you clear the countertops and empty the drawers. We suggest putting the drawer items into boxes. We remove the doors and drawer fronts and take them back to our shop. We are then onsite to coat the frames, reinstall the doors and drawers, and do the finishing touches. We make sure your room is clean before we leave.
The awesome news is that your room is fully functional the whole time. And NO, you do not need to move out of your home during our process. Your house will not be a mess!

What if the main boxes of your existing cabinets are good and you choose to coat them, BUT you wish you had soft close hinges, and you hate the knobs because they do not fit your new style? Sometimes it just makes sense to buy new cabinet parts, such as doors, drawers, crown molding, beadboard, hinges, knobs and/or pulls. These items can help enhance the coatings and REALLY create a space change! There are lots of options to choose from, and our estimating team can help guide you to the right choices.
Chameleon Cabinet Coatings offers services and upgrades done directly by our delightful team. However, there are some other aspects of a room that may require a different contractor. We will gladly work with other tradespeople to create the space you desire.
From our past experiences in the construction industry, here is some helpful advice when hiring contractors for your remodeling projects. First, make sure they are listing how long their portion of the project will take. Make sure this is listed on their contract. Second, are they reputable and honest? Look at the contractor’s reviews. Third, is it just a time and materials estimate, OR is everything spelled out? We suggest getting everything spelled out because it will not leave a huge overage in the total cost of the project, and it will reduce surprises at the end. For example, some contractors will type up a contract with a cost of materials as $5,000 but if they spend $10,000 in materials for your project, you are stuck paying the difference.
Right from the start, it’s our pleasure to be responsible for our work! We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our customers and to serve them well. Sometimes things happen, and we understand this. And we WILL stand behind our work with a three-year full warranty! When hiring a contractor, PLEASE make sure they have a full warranty. Watch for words like workmanship, product, and/or limited. If a contractor’s warranty has any of those words, you may not be getting the best deal in regard to warranties.
